Crochet Cactus Written Pattern

The Pattern 

Cactus

Starting with the main cactus colour yarn.

Row 1: Chain 19.

Row 2: Sc in the second chain from hook and in each chain across (18 sts).

Row 3-22 (20 rows): Sc in the back loops of each sc. Chain 1, turn (18 sts).

Cut off, leaving a long length of yarn. 

Attach safety eyes in the middle around 5 stitches apart. Embroider a smile (see photo for guide).

Join the top together using the drawstring method (see YouTube video) and sew together all along the side and sew the bottom together in using the drawstring method once again. Stuff before closing.

Flower

Starting with the flower colour yarn.

Round 1: form a magic ring and make 6 sc in the ring (6 sts).

Round 2 (inc): (Sc2inc) 6 times (12 sts).

Round 3: *Chain 3, sc in the second chain from hook and sc in the following stitch, slip stitch in the next stitch* repeat 12 times.

Sew the flower on to the top of the cactus and place the cactus in a little pot.
